A NIGHT WIT TALIB KWELI IN MARSEILLE ...MAGIC BK HOUR

Friday evening, while MARSATAC was taking place 3 blocks away my crib, we were chilling you know trying to relax, a lil bit of sadness in the air coz' i've decided to not go to the show; The reason why: it's the end of the month and i'm broke (it happen sometimes even if you hustle hard all day every day). I was not tripping coz' we went a few months ago to see him on stage in Lyon at the begining of the "Reflection Eternal" tour. 

Trying to kill time, smoking trees, surfing on the net,  then Talib kweli twitted me (We ever meet in New york last year):" hey yo, are in u marseille? come fuck wit us!" I was ashamed but i quickly answer that we  got no bucks ! " Roll wit us!" offer Kweli it didn't take us a minute to say yes!  Let's go Brooklyn mood in my hometown here we go Marto & me went to pick up the crew, Talib came along wit his personnal assistant Ephrom Jenkins and Deejay James, at Grand hotel Beauvau Vieux-port. We all jumped in the trunck on our way to La Friche, the artist was very focused, working on his macbook, getting last glances to the plan of the show, i rarely seen such concentration before. The show was dope, he did some joints in a great way among others "Ballad of the black gold" or "Too late" last but not least the tribute to Guru (R.I.P) been moving. In add to that, the public in Marseille even if it was an eclectic festival (wit a lot of electronic music) felt the concert and showed love to BK emcee.

Of course the after show was hip hop & friendly and we (Marto and myself Lady QB) wanted to give a shout out to one of our favourite emcee Talib Kweli beyond his rhymes taught us how to spread love once again...IT'S definitely the BROOKLYN WAY.
